New Greenfield Production Facility for Faran

cgilse supports Faran SA in building a new greenfield production plant for pre-filled syringes. cgilse successfully completed the basic and detail design of the first phase of the project.

Our Competencies

Civil & Site Planning

We plan your facility expansion, production and supporting buildings, roads, pavements, landscaping and other installations while considering connections to external infrastructure and adjacent sites. We work in close collaboration with local architects to align with local requirements.

Building Structure

We plan reinforced concrete and/or steel structures, structural design and load plans while cooperating with local structural engineers to align with local requirements and to calculate the final size of elements.

Architecture

We consider external and internal architecture from concept to detail design, incl. 3D BIM. We collaborate with other architects and align with local requirements, prepare and submit building permit documentation and keep contact to local authorities.

Cleanrooms

We plan all GMP-classes of cleanrooms (A/B, C, D), including CNC areas if required, walls, doors, windows, floors, etc. as well as various systems (sandwich, shell, post & beam) and various materials (aluminium, steel, synthetics) and consider all requirements, such as pressure resistance, chemical resistance, noise reduction or ability to fumigate.

HVAC for Cleanrooms and Other Areas

For cleanrooms, we use “classical” systems (make-up/exhaust air) and recirculation systems or “filter-fan-units”. We consider filtration (HEPA) and air exchange, energy efficiency and hygienic types.

Beyond cleanrooms, we plan HVAC for CNC and NC areas, warehouses and laboratories, admin and social areas.

Process Air

We plan process air for process equipment (fluid bed dryers, coarters, etc.) and special environments (isolators, biosafety cabinets, etc.) and provide special process air, such as de-dusting systems, vacuum systems, emergency or laboratory axhaust air and others.

Utilities

We consider all types of utilities, from clean utilities (water, steam, gases and others) to black utilities (heating, cooling, water and sewage) to design the right system for your needs.

EMSR (Electrical, Measurement, Control and Regulation Technology)

We make sure that all necessary power is supplied (through high-/medium voltage intakes, transformers) and backed up as needed (diesel power generators, UPS batteries). We consider power distribution and safety systems as well.

Automation

We are experts in process automation (DCS, MES, WMS, LIMS, EMS, QMS) as well as building automation systems (Building and Power Management Systems, Hazardous Gases Detection) and also take your low current systems (IT-systems and network, fire alarms, etc.) into consideration.

Sustainable Solutions

We take the sustainability of your project into consideration as well, providing you with sustainable solutions from renewable energy sources, to energy (heat) recovery and optimize your project for energy and resource efficiency.
